The Falls at Watkins Glen
Watkins Glen State Park is the largest outdoor attraction in the region. Located in the heart of downtown Watkins Glen, it is considered one of New York State's "flagship" parks; and was also voted in a USA Today Readers' Choice Poll as the #3 state park in the country. The park is home to the Gorge Trail that features 19 waterfalls and offers paths that wind over, under, and even behind several of the waterfalls. There is also the new Visitor Center at the main entrance which opened in late May as well as the Rim Trail which is open year-round and is dog-friendly (dogs are not permitted on the Gorge Trail). Visit the Watkins Glen State Park, and feast your eyes on an endless parade of beauty and nature!
